So, you’re either registered for LiveWorx and planning your trip to Boston from May 22 – 25, or you are still wondering if this is an event for which you can justify being out of the office. What if someone spelled out what a perfect navigation of LiveWorx looks like? Maybe it looks a little like this…
Let’s assume you’re registered – now what?
You log in and check out the breakout sessions to build your agenda through the Session Catalog. (If you’re not registered yet, we understand – just hit "browse" and search sessions to see what we’re offering). There are so many ways to find your sessions by your interests, then view the session date/time and hit that “+” sign... it’s now added to your schedule.
Monday, May 22 you arrive, pick up your badge, and your first stop is the Welcome Reception at 5pm in Xtropolis – the heartbeat of LiveWorx, a “connected city,” packed full of the latest and greatest technologies. In Xtropolis, you'll find the solutions your looking for, with experts on-hand to answer your questions.
Tuesday, May 23 you’re up early and hitting that first keynote by PTC’s President and CEO, Jim Heppelmann – expect to be enlightened and inspired as you begin your first full day of educational breakout sessions (remember - you planned for this when you built your agenda).
You’re just about done with your day and you’re now smarter, with new skills to bring back to your team and feeling a step ahead of your competition because you learned so much. You just heard Erik Brynjolfsson, Bestselling Author & Director, MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy (IDE), speak in the afternoon keynote, but you’re not done. Off to the Industry Meet-Ups from 7-9pm to socialize with attendees who have similar interests and challenges.
Wednesday, May 24 is here – a full day of educational sessions, and you can even squeeze in a couple of quick Ignite talks on the Xtropolis floor. You likely added a “Meet the Experts” session to your agenda – they’re ready to spill their secrets to success – so take advantage of their knowledge.
You’re then off to the Mix @ 6, hosted by Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots, outside the BCEC at Lawn on D on a beautiful night in Boston.
You've now made it to Thursday, May 25 – and you met some cool people last night so you decide to meet them at the Breakfast Topic Tables in Xtropolis. You also wanted to try out some of those demos on the show floor (did someone mention go-karts last night?).
Those last two breakout sessions really brought it all together for you, you’re excited to get back to the office and share newly found best practices and inform your team about future technologies and how to implement them.
Before you go, you attend the closing keynote by Reshma Saujani, Founder & CEO of Girls Who Code, and you’re feeling motivated and inspired, after just 4 days out of the office.
So you ask yourself, “When is LiveWorx 2018 – and where do I sign up?” (HINT: Visit the main lobby of the BCEC!).
