Dieter Dragon

Managing Director, PITERION GmbH

Dieter Dragon is managing director of the PITERION Group. Mr. Dragon has over 19 years of experience in leading engineering and technology initiatives for multi-national organizations in Europe. He joined the PITERION Group in January 2012 and previously executed roles for Astrium, the space business division of the Airbus Group. His roles included program manager for the development of a solar powered stratospheric platform (HAPS), technology manager for a common European Commission and Eurocontrol project aiming at the harmonization of the European air traffic, business development manager for the European Galileo satellite navigation project, manager of Airbus Group strategic technology projects, and head of navigation applications business. Mr. Dragon has a Master’s of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Technische Universität München, Germany.
