James Gardner

James Gardner works at Lockheed Martin in the ETIC Model Based Solutions team. Prior to ETIC James had an 8-year tenure at Rotary and Mission Systems in Syracuse, NY, where he was responsible for Mechanical Engineering, Structural Analysis and Model Based Definition using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing. This work ranged from designing for Underwater Explosive dynamic shock, design for injection Molding and working closely coupled with a US Navy Customer to release the first Model Based dataset in Undersea Sensors and Systems. Prior to Lockheed Martin he worked for Cannondale and Saab-Sensis. He has a deep interest in Digital Transformation of Engineering Data Set for reuse from Engineering & Production through Training & Sustainment.
James holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is ASME Senior GDTP Certified.
