Jean-Claude Niyonkuru is part of the PLM segment at PTC. In this role, Mr. Niyonkuru has responsibility for digital thread for manufacturing and service planning solutions in Windchill PLM solution offered by PTC.
Since joining PTC in 2005, Mr. Niyonkuru has held positions in R&D and product management, with a focus primarily in the Manufacturing Process Management engineering, Service Information Management engineering and Enterprise System Integration modules of Windchill.
Prior to joining PTC, Mr. Niyonkuru was leading the product specification team at Polyplan, a leading supplier of Manufacturing Process Management application software for manufacturing organizations that provided associativity between parts and manufacturing processes information. This innovative company championed the concept of Manufacturing Process Management for discrete manufacturing companies, which leads PTC to acquire it in 2005.
Before his years in the software industry, Jean-Claude Niyonkuru served as a technical leader in several design engineering and enterprise system projects at Bombardier Aerospace, where he had the opportunity to participate in defining the architecture and implementation of PDM systems as well as SAP integration with engineering systems.
Mr. Jean-Claude Niyonkuru has a Mechanical Engineer degree that he has topped with a Master Degree in Aerospace master degree from “Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal”.
