Connecting CAD and DFMA: Improving Efficiencies Leveraging Tools You May Already Have
Attendees will discover how implementing DFMA (Design For Manufacturability and Assembly) into their everyday CAD processes can drive true cost savings while leveraging existing CAD tools. In this session we will use real world cases of DFMA to demonstrate how simple changes to the design process can dramatically improve the product lifecycle, and the pivotal role the CAD user plays in the DFMA process. Attendees will see how these techniques link everyday CAD functions to the DFMA process, and leave with a basic understanding of how they can incorporate DFMA improvements through their organization without having to change the corporate culture.
