s661 - Single Sign On (SSO) & PTC

Authentication and authorization are significant areas of concern in regard to security. This talk will address SAML authentication and OAuth delegated authorization using a Central Auth Server (CAS) to manage authentication/ authorization flows. Trust concepts underpinning these two cases, such as SAML certificate management and OAuth client/server configuration, will be included.

Armed with a better understanding of SSO, several PTC supported SSO deployment architectures will be shared which represent how authentication and authorization are achieved in practice with PingFederate (CAS). Time will be allocated for sharing current activities in SSO as well as Q&A with subject matter experts and architects behind the PTC SSO solution.
