PDLM adminstrator, Xylem
During Julie’s six years at Xylem, she has experienced increased responsibility in her role as PDLM Administrator. Her responsibilities include providing implementation, support, and training, in collaboration with the global team, for Engineering Systems for Xylem’s China region. The region includes three major sites (one R&D center and two factories) and various sales locations for over 70 users. An experienced Creo, Windchill, Geomagic and Sigmaxim user, she also provides support for many of our other global engineering tools. For Creo specifically, Julie focuses on Top-down design, flexible modeling, UDF creation, flexible surface modeling and Creo automation using Sigmaxim’s suite of tools. Using Smart Assembly, she has helped automate key product lines that have significantly improved the efficiency of assembly and drawing creation, leading to increased productivity and sales. Julie holds degrees in 2010 from Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics and resides in Shanghai, China.
Tell Us Something Interesting:
When Creo was first promoted in 2011, it was opposed by many engineers. They said that we were working with 2D graphics smoothly. Why to change? Now, engineers found that new working modes can improve work efficiency greatly. Such as the smart design tool can shorten drawing time.
