Ron Bohlin is CEO and a Senior Fellow with The Performance Institute LLC in Washington, DC. PI is a leading research, seminar and training firm assisting government and commercial clients in strategic planning, performance management solutions and performance improvement programs. He has been an innovator in using scenario planning, strategic management systems and the use of knowledge-sharing performance support systems to improve performance in a wide range of organizations.
Ron brings over four decades of consulting and entrepreneurial success to his work with PI’s clients. Ron began his consulting career with McKinsey & Company, where he became a partner and worldwide practice area leader for the computer industry in the 1980’s. Following that he led a series of technology-focused organizations as SVP of Strategic Services for Digital Equipment Corp, SVP of Practice Development and Marketing for Renaissance Solutions (a leader in Balanced Scorecard and Performance Innovation), and Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Nextera Enterprises. Until its recent sale, Ron was Chairman of the Board of RG Group, the parent company of Robbins-Gioia who is a leading provider of program management services to the federal government and has deep experience in planning and scheduling activities for major MRO operations.
