IF1566CA - Realizing Manufacturing Intelligence Through Effective Communication

Connectivity, data acquisition, and intelligence are three core facets of Industry 4.0; with intelligence commonly accepted as the true source of value among them. This has brought artificial intelligence to the forefront of the manufacturing industry and businesses wish to leverage this to stay competitive.

The Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) believes that successful communication with shop floor assets would ultimately lead to an increase in factory intelligence. However, one of the fundamental barriers to this engagement is the lack of a common mode of communication. This presentation will highlight how we have used IIoT software to establish communication lines between our assets, factories and collaborate with our global partners to move closer to achieving manufacturing intelligence.
