Metal Additive Manufacturing - Design Considerations

Tim Simpson is the Director of the Additive Manufacturing and Design Master's Degree Program at Penn State, as well as the Co-Director of the CIMP-3D lab, a DOD Additive Manufacturing Demonstration Facility. He teaches courses on product design, 3D printing, and mass customization and gives tours of the CIMP-3D facility regularly. Tim is also an active ASME fellow, volunteer, and curriculum development subject-matter expert. He also contributes monthly to Modern Machine Shop and last year, he gave a TED talk at TEDxPSU.
