CA1188B - Helping Engineers Work Smarter: What We Can Learn From Onshape Analytics

Are you an extrovert or an introvert? A morning person or a night owl? While we have the terminology and frameworks to explain our personality tendencies, we know little about our own CAD working styles and their compatibility with our colleagues. We’ve launched a research project to address this gap, powered by the analytics available through Onshape. In this presentation, we’ll share an example of the results of the CAD analytics analysis from our partners at Avidbots. We’ll take a deep dive to look at their CAD styles and project-level patterns on the team. We’ll demonstrate what analytics can help you see about yourself as a designer or engineer, and about your team, which might otherwise be hidden.
