CA1719B - Collaboration is King: How Global Teams Optimize Product Design in Onshape

Products are rarely developed in isolation. Contractors, suppliers, manufacturing, sales, marketing and even customers are now getting involved in every aspect of the product development process. Their diverse skill sets and combined knowledge, plus the opportunity to identify, review, and solve problems together, yields more innovative solutions. However, the traditional method of sharing copies of design files by email often creates serial workflows and bottlenecks in the process where delays, errors, duplication of effort and conflicts are common. During this session, you will see how cloud-native product development tools bring teams closer together with real-time collaboration, simultaneous editing, secure sharing and a “single source of truth” data model.
