Use product variant management to strategically design, create, manage, and validate product variants. Platform options, choices, logic, and configuration rules are directly linked to the bill of material (BOM), 3D visualization, and CAD data to deliver a robust modular solution. In this 90-minute lecture and demo session we explore the new capabilities, concepts, and processes available in Windchill Smart Platforms to create configurable product options. We will create a Product Family and manage various product specifications in the Matrix Editor. Finally, we will create a new configurable module using dynamic positioning.
