II1214C - Digital Transformation Throughout the Product Lifecycle

Since 2017 Howden has used digital twin technology to utilize 165 years of product expertise. A digital thread runs through Howden, supporting customers through every stage of the product lifecycle. The Uptime digital platform combines historic and live performance data to validate current performance and predict future asset health to inform maintenance planning. Augmented Reality (AR) work instructions support both manufacturing and service activities, while AR video calls support field service engineers on-site and connect Howden experts across the globe to triage and troubleshoot issues. In this session, we discuss the organizational changes, and integration with existing systems and processes, required to make digital tools a sustainable, scalable part of everyday business.
