CA1487B - Model-Based Product Development: Efficiency and Collaboration

Model-Based Product Development (MBPD) describes the process by which manufacturers’ 3D CAD models serve as the single source of truth for the full development cycle, from early concept development through manufacturing planning. MBPD eliminates the waste created when converting 3D models into 2D artifacts and helps manufacturers improve time to market, reduce cost of poor quality, and drive innovation. Join this session to hear how you can now easily define a single source of truth for design, manufacturing, quality, and your downstream supply chain. Hear directly from LIXIL, parent company of American Standard, about how they leverage 3D CAD models throughout their development process.
