Chris Adkins

Director of Product Security , Materialise

Chris Adkins is the Director of Product Security at Materialise, his role is to develop the security architecture for the Materialise CO-AM Software Platform, making it the most secure end-to-end distributed manufacturing platform. Additionally, Chris works directly with customers to help guide them in securing their AM design and manufacturing workflows. Chris earned his master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky. He started in the AM field in 2016 with the Identify3D startup as their Chief Scientist. Chris helped grow Identify3D into the industry leader in AM security before its acquisition by Materialise in 2022. Chris has 53 U.S. patents.
