PL1666TR - Introduction to Windchill FMEA

Windchill’s Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) is an early warning system that designers can use to methodically study and correct failures before the system, design, process, or service is finalized. As a part of the Windchill Risk and Reliability suite, Windchill FMEA can guide product testing procedures, link product component verification to functional requirements, identify manufacturing controls necessary to minimize system risks and reduce costly rework. You will explore Windchill FMEA from data entry and RPN calculations to the analysis and follow-up actions that correct possible failures. This is a 90-minute lecture and demo session.
