Ellie is the Product Manager for Augmented Reality (AR) at Howden, a manufacturing company specializing in air and gas handling solutions. In 2022, she completed a PhD in the use of AR work instructions in the manufacturing industry at the University of Strathclyde. She has also worked with the National Manufacturing Institute for Scotland, assisting on a variety of AR and VR projects for local SMEs as part of the Aerospace Digital Visualization Suite. She now works as part of the Data Driven Advantage team at Howden, where she manages and promotes the use of remote assistance tools and digital work instructions, as well as developing and exploring new AR solutions to meet customer and business needs.
