Eric Abbruzzese

Eric Abbruzzese, a Research Director at ABI Research, primarily conducts research in augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and virtual reality (VR). Coverage include devices, content, platforms, and use cases across consumer and enterprise applications. Additional coverage includes gaming, video, and emerging technologies. Before joining ABI Research, Eric was a researcher in the Psychology and Computer Science labs at Arizona State University, including Cognitive and Social Psychology, as well as Human-Computer Interaction in the school of Computer Informatics and Decision Systems Engineering. Eric was also a member of the STARS Computing Corps and focused on solving real-world problems using robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT). Eric received a BS in Psychology from Arizona State University, where he was a student in Barrett, the Honors College. His thesis focused on human-computer interaction and “gamification” as a means of behavioral reinforcement.
