Gil Shroitman

Senior Product Manager for Arbortext , PTC

Gil Shroitman is a Senior Product Manager in PTC's Arbortext Product team, leading the Arbortext Content Delivery (FKA InService) product line at PTC since 2018. During his 13 years career at PTC, Gil has acquired extensive busines know-how and experience in end-to-end product Life-Cycle Management domains, and Digital Transformation from Engineering to Service, as former Product Manager of PLM, ALM and SLM solutions (Windchill, Integrity and InService). Prior to joining PTC in 2010, Gil has work as Project Manager and Information Systems Engineer in various Information Technology and A&D companies. Gil earned a B.S in Information Systems Engineering from the Technion, Israel's Institute of Technology, and a M.B.A from Tel-Aviv University.

A digital thread creates a closed loop between the digital and physical worlds, transforming how products are engineered, manufactured, and serviced. In this session, you will learn how Arbortext, PTC's industry-leading Technical Information Management and Delivery solution, strengthens the digital thread by creating a single flow of data and resources that will enable the linking of content all the way out to someone in the field. For example, starting from the source in engineering CAD data or bill of materials (BOM), as that information flows through the business process, it will be available to those creating technical information or service content.

This session is a UX Lab 1:1 Research Study. Participants must be Engineers who are interested in service content delivery, Arbortext users, or Technical Publication Authors and Managers. In this lab, provide feedback on ways to display Arbortext and Service Parts Information in ServiceMax. Also, evaluate how technicians synchronize work instructions for viewing in Arbortext Content Delivery while disconnected from the network.
