Jon Hirschtick

Executive Vice President & GM of Onshape & Atlas , PTC

Jon Hirschtick is EVP and General Manager of Onshape and Atlas at PTC. He leads the Onshape business he originally co-founded and sold to PTC in 2019. Jon also oversees several PTC products and the PTC Atlas Platform. He is considered a top thought leader in the computer-aided design (CAD) industry and is one of a few CAD executives to receive the prestigious CAD Society Leadership Award.

Prior to Onshape and PTC, Jon was Co-founder and CEO of SolidWorks which he sold to Dassault Systemes in 1997. He has also served as Director of Engineering at Computervision and Manager of MIT’s CADLab.

Jon earned an M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and was part of the infamous MIT Blackjack team featured in books and movies.
