Iñaki Ulizar is Engineering & Technology Director, Indra T&D. Dr. Ulizar started his career at ITP Aero, where he was Engineering & Technology Executive Director 2007-2020 and before this he served as Technology Director from 2005 to 2008. Prior to assuming this position, he was Chief Engineer of the Advanced Near Term Low Emission and R&T projects from 2001 to 2005 and Head of Aerothermal & Systems from 1999 to 2001 and leader of Aerodynamics from 1996 to 1999. He joined ITP Aero in 1994 as performance engineer and prior was working as a researcher at Cranfield University. He served as a Member of the Centro de Tecnologías Aeronáuticas Board from 2007 to 2020, Member of the Instituto Madrileño de Estudios Avanzados (IMDEA) – Materials Board; Chairman of the IMDEA – Materials Industrial Advisory Board, Member of the Centro de Fabricación Avanzada en Aeronáutica (CFAA) Board and Member of the Clean Sky Governing Board 2018-19. He was also Vice President from 1997 to 1999 and President from 1999 until 2001 of the Cycle Innovations Committee of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering. He also served as the Spanish representative in the European Turbomachinery Committee during the period of 2001- 2009 and was Spanish representative in the International Society for Air Breathing Engines from 2001 until 2013. Iñaki earned an MSc Aeronautical Engineering from University of Madrid and an MSc in Thermal Power from Cranfield Institute of Technology. He also has a Ph. D in Mechanical Engineering from Cranfield University and PDD from IESE.
