EVP, Products, PTC
Kevin Wrenn is Executive Vice President, Products at PTC. In this role, Kevin leads the Product Segments and Research & Development (R&D) organizations.
Kevin was appointed EVP, Products on January 1, 2020. Kevin previously served as the Divisional GM of the PLM Segment for over five years. During his tenure, Kevin was responsible for leading the PLM business, including strategy, market development, solution definition, global go-to-market activities, and customer success. Under his leadership, PLM successfully outpaced market growth and improved profits by accelerating both product innovation, go-to-market execution and product development efficiency.
Kevin has been with PTC for over 25 years and has held positions such as Division Vice President of SLM – Go to Market, Division Vice President of Global Services, Senior Vice President of Windchill Services, Vice President of Professional Services in Asia Pacific, and multiple roles with Implementation Services. Most notably, Kevin moved to Japan to start PTC’s Professional Services Organization in Asia. He built the infrastructure, localized offerings and led business development efforts that produced revenue growth to $4.0M quarterly in a 20-month period. Upon returning to the United States, Kevin led worldwide Global Services, Value Centric Engagement Model and SLM.
PLM market lines for which Kevin has responsibility have received coveted awards and distinctions. Over the past several years, PTC is continually recognized as the top PLM software company from leading analyst firms, such as Forrester Wave, Quadrant Knowledge Solution Spark Matrix, Frost & Sullivan and Best Practice Award for PLM for Digital Transformation in Discrete Manufacturing.
Kevin attended Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, and later attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a Master of Computer Science in Software Systems.
