Mark Nielsen is a consultant and Model Based Definition expert specializing in advising companies to achieve maximum benefits from MBD strategies and its application to create more efficient and profitable Model Based enterprises. After 25 years at PTC, Mark has helped companies across all industries structure and execute effective model based strategies focused on MBD over the last 15 years. Much of his time is spent driving industry standards and change through participation with numerous organizations and committees such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME, the National Institute of Science and Technology, NIST, and the Digital Metrology Standards Consortium, DMSC
