Michael received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Masters in Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. He has lectured at Stanford University, University of California at Berkeley, Northwestern University, Santa Clara University, University of California at San Francisco, BioMed Device Show, SME, ASQE, Lawrence Livermore Laboratories and Lemnos Labs, and has mentored startup companies at Stanford University's StartX, Berkeley Foundry, Lemnos Labs, Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) and Clean Tech Open (CTO).
