He has over 25 years of international business experience in product develop-ment, production and general management with LuK, FAG, Schaeffler and a Consulting Company. Prior to his current assignment, Rainer Eidloth served as Development Engineer at LuK in Bühl, Sen-ior Consultant for Invention Machine in Bosten (MA), as well as Internal Consultant at FAG, Project Manager R&D, Head of Advanced Development in Industrial Division, General Manager of Super Precision Bearing Business, General Manager Development Tools and Platform SPEED, SVP Bearing and Component Development and R&D Bearing at Schaeffler and today SVP Engineering IT & Digi-talization. Current Mr. Eidloth works on IT solutions for Schaeffler's research & development. He pays special attention to user centricity. The focus on Schaeffler's changed product portfolio towards mechatronic systems is the priority of his activities.
