AR1386I - Automating Dynamic Digital Thread AR Experiences

Vertical slice architecture is a technique that helps build maintainable augmented reality experiences by creating the experience around features or “vertical slices”. This presentation will show attendees how to utilize a vertical slice architecture to organize code which allows features to be selectively added to experiences based on data from external systems, thereby enabling faster integration of AR into your organization’s Digital Thread. Attendees will learn how to build reusable JavaScript ES6 classes that will help automate the addition of Vuforia Studio objects such as models, buttons, etc. to experiences in Vuforia View during runtime. These JavaScript classes are the building blocks from which custom features can be created to add to AR experiences.
