For most of the past 40 years, PTC and its user group have hosted an annual customer gathering. Since 2015, the event has carried the name LiveWorx, and has been held in Boston’s Innovation District as a one-stop shop for all things digital transformation. After a pandemic-induced hiatus, the magic of LiveWorx returned in May 2023, bringing together thousands of customers and partners to see industry-leading technologies come to life, inspiring keynote presentations, informative product demonstrations, and so much more.
And while so many aspects of business have returned to “normal,” some things will never be the same again. Work habits have shifted to a new normal and many of us around the world are working remotely more often, traveling less for in-person meetings, and generally adopting more virtual interactions and collaboration. We still want to learn from others, spend time together, and even venture out with a crowd. But we’re more selective with when, where, and with whom we’re willing to spend that precious time.
Reflecting on this new landscape, PTC is excited to announce a new era for our LiveWorx strategy. We remain committed to producing an event that gathers our global community of creators, innovators, and disruptors together in a format that delivers the highest quality education, entertainment, and inspiration.
But now we’re going to focus that commitment by hosting the show every other year. In so doing, we believe we are balancing the demands of your own new normal with your need to stay informed by the latest guidance on how PTC can enable your digital transformation journey.
Certainly PTC will continue to share insights into what’s new with our products, the success our customers are seeing, and our vision for the future of our industry. We’ll just be doing it in other ways – through communication channels such as our blog, podcasts, webcasts, and smaller, in-person experiences. But no matter the location, year, or size of the event, there’s no better place for innovation leaders in tech to gather, engage, and grow.
