The health and well-being of all customers, partners, employees and our broadened community members is of the utmost importance to us.

In light of the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have decided to reimagine LiveWorx 2020 as a complimentary virtual event. This decision was not taken lightly but is in alignment with the best practices laid out by the CDC and World Health Organization.

Enjoy an inspiring NEW digital format this year without the risk of travel, enabling remote participation from anywhere in the world.

FAQ

1. Is LiveWorx 2020 canceled?

No, LiveWorx is not canceled. We’ve decided to reimagine LiveWorx as a complimentary virtual event, which will still take place June 9, 2020.

2. When will the new LiveWorx virtual event happen?

We expect to deliver the new LiveWorx virtual event on Tuesday, June 9th 2020. Details to follow. Please sign up to receive important announcements.

3. Is there a fee for the new LiveWorx virtual event?

No. The LiveWorx virtual event will be available for free. Please sign up to receive details on how to register.

4. I registered and paid for LiveWorx already, can I get a refund?

Yes. Anyone who has registered for a paid pass to LiveWorx will be receiving a full refund. Additionally, if you purchased a PTCUniversity training at an add-on cost, you will receive a full refund for that amount too. If you registered via credit card, your registration fee will be refunded directly. You do not take further action for a refund to be processed. You will receive an email in the coming weeks when this has been completed. If you paid via check or wire transfer, please contact the LiveWorx Concierge: concierge@liveworx.com.

5. I am a sponsor for LiveWorx 2020, can I get a refund?

Yes. First of all, thank you for agreeing to sponsor our event this year. We regret that we are having to reimagine the event and value your continued partnership. You will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your sponsorship to LiveWorx 2021. We will be in touch with you directly to discuss your options.

6. What’s the plan for LiveWorx in 2021?

LiveWorx 2021 will take place again as a live, in-person event at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center on May 10-13, 2021.

7. I booked a hotel for LiveWorx 2020 already, can I get a refund?

onPeak, the official housing provider for LiveWorx, will take care of cancelling your hotel if booked through them. No further action is necessary if you booked through onPeak.

You are responsible for cancelling your own hotel room if you did not book through onPeak. If you booked a hotel room through any other booking site or agency, please review your confirmation or contact your hotel directly for more information on their specific cancellation and refund policies. 

All of the hotels that LiveWorx contracts offer free cancellations with no penalties as long as they’re canceled within 72 hours or 48 hours in advance of your check in.

The hotels that require 72-hour cancellation notice are: Aloft Boston Seaport, Boston Marriott Copley Place, Boston Park Plaza, Courtyard Boston Downtown, Doubletree by Hilton Boston Downtown, Element Boston Seaport, Omni Parker House, and Revere Hotel Boston Common.

Hotels that require 48-hour cancellation notice are: Embassy Suites Boston at Logan Airport, Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center, Hyatt Regency Boston, Renaissance Boston Waterfront, Seaport Hotel, The MidTown Hotel, Westin Boston Waterfront, Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill, and YOTEL Boston.

If you still plan to travel to Boston over the original dates of the event, you will need to contact the hotel directly and rates will vary as the LiveWorx rate is no longer valid. 

8. I booked my flights to Boston for LiveWorx 2020 already, can I get a refund?

No, LiveWorx will not provide reimbursement for your travel. Please reach out to the airline or transportation organization you’ve booked with directly. Many airlines have been updating their cancellation policies and change fees daily and each have different terms. Here are some helpful links for major airlines:

9. Will I get access to the session content from LiveWorx 2020?

We are planning to offer as much LiveWorx 2020 content in digital format as possible. You will need to be registered for the virtual event to consume that content. More details will be announced soon.

10. I'm based in Greater Boston, are there any in-person activities I can participate in?

Select content and programming for LiveWorx 2020 will be available online. LiveWorx will no longer be hosting large in-person meetups in connect with the event. This is in alignment with the CDC, World Health Organization and other relevant entities regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19).
