LiveWorx is pleased to announce the first batch of Track Keynote speakers! Track Keynotes are industry leaders and tech experts who will present on topics that are both inspiring and actionable and will help change the way we work today.

IIoT FOR PRODUCTS AND SERVICE TRACK

Stacey Higginbotham has been covering technology for major publications for 20 years, and currently covers the industrial, enterprise, and consumer internet of things. She is co-host of the Internet of Things Podcast and publisher of the Stacey on IoT newsletter analyzing the latest trends and news in IoT. Her work has also appeared in Fortune (where she was Senior Editor), MIT Tech Review, IEEE Spectrum, and Gigaom.

AR TRACK

Dr. Helen Papagiannis has been working with AR for a decade as a researcher, designer, and technology evangelist. In her cutting-edge talks, Papagiannis takes audiences through the present and future realities that AR both invents and manifests. AR is not a replacement for our current, tangible reality. Rather, Papagiannis shows all the ways that AR makers are using the technology to amplify human intelligence, focus our engagement with real spaces, and, paired with Artificial Intelligence, improve our health. Papagiannis was named among the NEXT 100 Top Influencers of the Digital Media Industry. She is the former Chief Innovation Officer at Infinity Augmented Reality Inc. and Senior Research Associate at York University’s Augmented Reality Lab. 

Papagiannis has presented her interactive work and Ph.D. research at global conferences including TEDx, ISMAR (International Society for Mixed and Augmented Reality), and ISEA (International Symposium for Electronic Art). Her TEDx talk was featured among the Top 10 Talks on Augmented Reality and Gamified Life. Prior to her augmented life, Dr. Papagiannis was a member of the internationally renowned Bruce Mau Design studio where she was project lead on Massive Change: The Future of Global Design, an internationally touring exhibition and best-selling book examining the new inventions, technologies, and events changing the world. 

EMERGING TECH TRACK

A pioneer in Emotion AI, Dr. Rana el Kaliouby is Co-Founder and CEO of Affectiva, and author of the forthcoming book Girl Decoded: A Scientist’s Quest to Reclaim Our Humanity by Bringing Emotional Intelligence to Technology. A passionate advocate for humanizing technology, ethics in AI and diversity, el Kaliouby has been recognized on Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list and as one of Forbes’ Top 50 Women in Tech. She is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and a newly minted Young Presidents’ Organization member and co-hosted a PBS NOVA series on AI. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge and a Post Doctorate from MIT.

CAD TRACK

Nir Eyal writes, consults, and teaches about the intersection of psychology, technology, and business. The M.I.T. Technology Review dubbed Eyal, “The Prophet of Habit-Forming Technology.” Eyal founded two tech companies since 2003 and has taught at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford. He is the author of the bestselling book, Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products, which won the “Marketing Book of the Year” award from 800 CEO Read. In addition to blogging at NirAndFar.com, Nir's writing frequently appears in TechCrunch, Inc, The Harvard Business Review, and PsychologyToday.
